Why do I want to have a blog on my own domain?

Why do I want to have a blog on my own domain? Simply put, if you’re blogging on someone else’s DOT COM (WordPress.com, Blogger.com, Posterous.com, etc.), you’re creating content that mostly benefits them and not you. This is especially true if the .com on which you’re blogging is allowing you to do so free. Every time you create new content, you generate a link for that .com, and that new link pushes that .com up further and further in the search engine listings. The higher up they go, the more they can make from advertising revenue, none of which (or only partially of which) you get a piece.

Make your content work for you, not someone else.

This package is for you if you have a blog with twelve months or more of blog posts on a .com blog site.

*WordPress Customization Add-On – $249

This is an add-on to any of the above-mentioned packages. This add-on allows you to have your blog customized with the colors and images of your choice. Once you choose a free theme from the thousands that exist, I will personalize it for you, so it doesn’t look exactly like the free theme that so many others could possibly be using.

This add-on is optional, of course.

Payment plans are available.

WordPress Custom Theme – $350 (unique use) or $100 (shared use)

This is a unique theme created from scratch to your specifications for your blog. For the $300 price, no one else will have this look, unless you allow someone else to use your theme. For the $100 price, you get the theme first, but you allow me to sell it to others, which means your blog could possibly look like other blogs, if someone else chooses to buy the theme from me.

**Payment plans are available, so don’t let a limited budget keep you from availing yourself of my services
